| On September 7th we decided that it was too nice a day to spend it all indoors so we took our lunch out to Newland Hause. By car it is only 10 - 15 minutes away from the house and it offers ample parking and easy routes to some nice peaks. Since we did not have much time we walked north from the car park and up on to Knott Rigg. With more time the route to the East up onto High Snockrigg and Robinson would have been tempting. |
